Does that have to be limited spaces? What I mean is, surely the more teams involved, the more games everyone is going to get (and the more money made for the club?).

Obviously not in the stupid numbers but 32 could work?

The biggest draw-back for that would be space. Dividing the pitch up gives two new pitces for teh matches to be played so 2 groups of 8, or 4 groups of 4 (playing alternate rounds) works well. 32 teams may be difficult to administer in a timely fashion..

I guess the first thing is to establish the number of teams and then go from there, a deadline for entry would help I think. That way after a certain date you will know the numbers that won't change and then draw up the schedule.
