Welcome Mr Christie

Random banter and idle chit chat

It was a tough one, i thought he did very well. He held the ball up and never took any shit and put himself about. But as a attacking force i think we were better when he went off, we certainly attacked with more pace and faster with more urgency.

But regards Christie i liked what i saw today.

Interesting to hear views from those that were actually there. Radio Northampton were damning in the fact that they said he missed 2 cast iron certain goals.

That's very harsh. They were chances, but not in the Sam Banya school of chances.First header was a free one from a corner that he got under and the 2nd volley he actually hit quite well after X had headed it back across the area but it wasn't a surprise it hit somebody as the 6 yard box was very crowded..

Thanks for that.
I see you had a better result yesterday, makes our result against you look even better.
No doubt Stevenage will start climbing the table soon, too many good players to be where you are at the moment. Hope you finish above the Diamonds anyway.
Bottom two would be nice ;)

Good website you've got there.
Don't know if you've heard it but Christie did an interview where he sounds a tad relieved to be away from your place...

I think we are just beginning to click. Even though you beat us on Tuesday I don't think we played badly, but come up against a well organised team who got the early goal and defended well. R & D haven't had a great start either, but there are a lot of worse teams in this division that us two. Where do you realistically think you can finish?

Thanks for the praise. I don't think he will ever come back to Boro which is a shame because I think he is a good player. Quite intelligent on the ball.

On what i have seen so far and when you consider we have played four of the so called fancied sides and never really looked in real trouble against any of them i don't think a top 10 finish is out of the question.
